And with the Saint Paul event concluded, Red Bull Heavy Metal will now gear up for its historic debut in Boston at City Hall Plaza on February 22. Leading the charge there will be X Games Gold Medalist Zeb Powell, who aims to bring the same level of urban snowboarding excitement to a brand-new crowd in the Northeast. Red Bull Heavy Metal is a single-day snowboarding contest featuring the most progressive rail riding in the world. Some of the world's best riders will return to Saint Paul, Minnesota for a legendary showcase of the grit, creativity, and raw energy that defines street snowboarding. The contest will feature three differentiated competition zones, each highlighting different aspects of street snowboarding. Riders will tackle custom-designed rails, gaps, and creative features that will challenge even the most experienced snowboarders. Red Bull Heavy Metal is free and open to the public to spectate.
