The course at Albstadt is dominated by two big climbs, and races here are always exciting right up to the last few metres, which often feature nail-biting sprint finishes. This stop, in the Swabian Alps in Germany's Baden-Württemberg region, has been a popular fixture in the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup calendar since the inaugural race in 2013.
