From August 22-23, 2025 , Red Bulls Salute, an international ice hockey tournament featuring top European teams, will take place for the ninth time since the 2017 edition. In 2025, hosts EC Red Bull Salzburg , champions of the win2day ICE Hockey League, and EHC Red Bull München , quarter-finalists in the German PENNY DEL, will welcome three-time Swiss champions EV Zug and one-time Champions Hockey League winners Rögle BK from Sweden. After being held in Garmisch-Partenkirchen at the restart and the following year, the four-team tournament returned to Austria and took place in Kitzbühel from 2019 to 2022. In 2023, the tournament moved to Zell am See, where it will be held for the third time this year.
