Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series

A World Series-first touchdown in Japan brought the world's best divers to the on the cliffs of Sandanbeki, and the early crowning of another historic win for legend Gary Hunt. It was actually Mexico's Sergio Guzman who put on a winning performance in Japan, sealing a surprise first Red Bull Cliff Diving victory, leaving the door open for Hunt to pick up enough points to secure his record-breaking sixth overall title at the penulimate stop. Meanwhile, in the women's competition it was Australia's Rhiannan Iffland who won her fourth event of the season, fending off cliff diving giants Ginger Huber and Lysanne Richard. The win brought Iffland a step closer to the coveted women's title.
