Every year the ASP World Tour season culminates with the Pipeline Masters. This year is no different. With the world title long-since decided, it’s pride that’s at stake this time. No other trophy in surfing is as coveted, no win means more. Mick Fanning, Michel Bourez, Adriano De Souza, Jordy Smith, all would love nothing more than to see their names etched amongst surfing’s greats. But in an unlikely turn, France’s Jeremy Flores takes the win, and becomes the first European ever to win the Pipeline Masters. Worth celebrating? You bet.
